Introduction to Bite Of Life
My name is Mindy Yachter and I am not a professional chef, nor am I the best cook I know. I simply love food — the shopping, the preparation, and most importantly, the eating! It has become an adventure of sorts to research new ways to prepare nutrient-rich, alkalizing meals that promote energy and overall better health for my family. My husband, Dr. Dan Yachter, is repeatedly asked what he eats and his response is inevitably, “ask my wife.” It is virtually impossible for me to answer these questions and explain what we eat within a two minute window when I am approached. That dilemma has led me to this blog.
I will begin sharing with you things that I buy, cook, and eat on a regular basis. You will see many of my resources listed as well, as I would be completely dishonest to allow you to believe I am the sole mastermind behind these yummy meals. I take bits and pieces from many places and fit them together to fit our lifestyle. As I said, I am no Master Chef, but I am the Queen of my kitchen.
